Two month old Baby Max, otherwise known as Maxfield Ward Hartzell, son of Sarah and Kevin Hartzell was born in a small town called Andong, in South Korea. This is also where his first photo shoot took place, captured by Matthew Carr Photography. Matthew Carr was based in Korea, but now returning to Cape Town with his wife Krystle to carry on photographing.
Matthew did a newborn shoot with Max when he was just 17 days old and he was not the happiest little camper. Sarah and Kevin asked for another shoot as he was starting to smile and wanted to capture some of his cute expressions. During this shoot he was totally relaxed and full of smiles. He has the most wonderful expressions and the most beautiful, big blue eyes!
Kevin and Sarah are avid readers and bought along a BIG bag full of books. Max was propped up against some pillows, he sat next to his dad and listened to him reading. It was so cute how he looked at the book and was so quiet while Kevin read the appropriately named “Max’s breakfast”.
