I suppose it is now that I am expecting a girl that I am more prone to see the pretty girly parties and themes available for future birthdays. I was so inspired by this little Swan Party by Laura Thomas from Johannesburg based, Work of Heart. The stylish and perfectly executed event almost got me planning a first birthday party before my little princess even arrives. This party was filled with lovilee details and the pastel colours paired with golds fit for a princess.
The mini cake, cupcake toppers, candy table and cookies all made the theme fit together seamlessly. Laura literally did all of it herself as she is known as throwing gorgeous parties! She also has an on-line store that sells pretty items for little people on Hello Pretty that includes the personalised wooden blocks used on the candy table.
