I remember my mom making these delicious ‘fruit’ and ‘veggies’ at every birthday party that my sister and I had when we were young. We absolutely LOVED them. I thought that I might be the perfect time to share this family secret recipe with the world! Can’t wait to share the full party with you later this month.
Mini jellie strawberries and carrots recipe
Ingredients
Method
Mix the jelly powder, lemon juice and condensed milk together.
Add the desiccated coconut to the mixture and mix until stiff.
Shape the strawberries (or carrots) by hand and roll in the dry jelly (0.5 of the second bag) that you kept aside.
For the strawberries you can use a toothpick that you dyed green with food colorant as stem and add some leaves with icing sugar.
For the carrots we used some sweets instead of toothpicks.

Notes
At the princess’ first birthday party my mom made these little treats as mini strawberries. So the choice is up to you, either way, kiddies LOOOVE them and they look really pretty on any kids party candy table.
