A funtabulous Cake in a cone recipe

These cakes in a cone are a wonderful and unique way to enjoy cake. You can eat cake on the go with no fork or plate needed.

Ingredients

 A cake mix of your choice or use this chocolate cupcake recipe
 Flat bottomed ice cream cones
 Sprinkles

Method

1

Prepare your cake mix as per packet instructions.

Preheat the oven to 180C

3

Fill your ice cream cones 3/4 full (do not fill to the top otherwise your cake will overflow over the top of the cone)

Cook for 15 minutes or until the cake bounces back when you press the cake down gently. Let cool.

Prepare your butter icing (click here to see how to make butter icing) - you can colour it any colour you want - let your imagination run wild!)

Ice your ice-cream cupcakes and adorn with sprinkles.
