The princess recently turned a full five and we were so grateful and excited to throw her a Peppa Pig Party with the cutest cardboard house EVER! Yup, I purchased a DIY cardboard house from Little Beehive and it was soooo easy to assemble, all you need to do is put the pieces together and if you want add some paint, it was a hit! I was sooo grateful that Melanie Wessels agreed to take some special pics. I invited everyone to put on their cozzies and gumboots and join in some muddy puddle fun!
The party was part inspired by this Peppa Pig party I featured years ago and a stunningly gorgeous Oink Oink Peppa Pig party by Milk & Confetti.
I am the worst baker EVER, so I convinced friendy Yolandi from A Zesty Life to bake some sugar cookies as I found the cutest Peppa Pig cookie cutter that I printed using my 3D printer. For the eyes I used premade ones that I purchased on Yuppiechef and then we used a royal icing mix from a local baking store. I tried to make Peppa look as beautiful as the invitations I purchased from The Paper Fox Studio via ETSY and were sooo happy with my first try at making sugar biscuits.
Every year daddy gets to make a cake topper for the cakes and this year he aced the Peppa! And… How glad was I that I discovered the magic of The Catering Edge – never making any party food myself again!
As favours I gave each kiddie a coloring page, some stickers that I made with my Cricut Maker and the cutest ever Peppa Pig Bubble blowers that Gerhardt from gonk managed to find.
