I had been in the mood to style something pretty as it feels like it has been forever that anyone in my family has had a birthday. So here it goes… Just something peachy with a dash of apricot to brighten up a winters’ day. Off-course it helped that I was searching for some pretty inspiration to pair with the just launched Tea4Kidz peach + apricot Rooibos tea with added vitamin C!
Laager Tea4Kidz believes that even superheroes need a little help from time to time that is why they have launched Tea4Kidz peach and apricot flavour with added Vitamin C- great for healthy lunches as an alternative to sugary drinks! I made a rooibos infused cake for the table and it was delicious (see the recipe here). Planning a Peaches and Cream party (with some apricots)
This party inspiration is as sweet as a peach and is the perfect theme for a little girl’s party. It has a healthy summery feel and the pastel orange colors of peaches and apricots are easy to work with. If you are looking for ideas on making your own balloon garlands I have a simple and easy to follow DIY below.
DIY peach balloon garland
What you will need for this party garland?
- Orange color balloons
- Plastic leaves
- String
- A pair of scissors
- Clear adhesive tape
How to make these cute peaches?
- Blow up 5-8 balloons, but keep them rather small instead of making them full size.
- Using the string, tie the balloons to the string, spreading them out equal distances from each other.
- Secure the ‘bunting’ to your wall or backdrop.
- Add the plastic leaves to the top of the balloons using clear adhesive tape.
