Nicky from Pudding & Pie submitted her sons bicycle themed kids party for feature. I have been planning my little ones party and have been in the zone and found this one quite inspirational.
Adam, is mad about his bike – the inspiration came largely from his love of riding as well as the fact that by incorporating a bike wash and decorating station – the entertainment would largely be taken care of. We were fortunate enough that we had the space at home for the other 20 odd kiddies to bring a bike too so that they could all ride together. The colours were largely a personal choice. I feel the red, white and turquoise is to on trend right now.
DIY details
The bike wash was completely home made! We had so much fun pulling it together in the evenings leading up to Adams party. It was made out of conduit piping cut to the desired lengths and joined together. We then fastened a sprinkler system across the top and fastened pool noodles across both ends to create a drive through bike wash!
I incorporated a bike decoration station with streamers and pegs and had buckets and sponges with bubbles for an extra bit of bike washing fun.
Each of the kids that attended on the day was also spoilt with a bicycle print shirt.

Very good activity. Learning to ride a bike is an important rite of passage for any young child.
