Counting down the days to Black Friday 2023

One of my favourite days of the year is around the corner and I am literally counting down the days to Black Friday 2023. This year Black Friday is on 24 November 2023 and I am planning to… go NOWHERE! Yup, I am just staying indoors and planning to shop everything from the comfort of my beautiful home office, starting with items on my Superbalist.com Black Friday 2023 wishlist.

This online home + living, fashion and accessories store is my first stop with Black Friday deals every year, you can literally get up to 70% some of the biggest brands and most beautiful finds. Being one of their subscribers and having the Superbalist app installed on my mobile and by enabling the push notification I get alerts to special offers so that I can add them to cart quick and easy. Last year I set my alarm clock for midnight to make sure that I got my basket filled and checked out.

Current Interior Design Terms

Herewith a few of my favourite Design lingo terms and items I have on my Superbalist.Com wish list to bring these terms to life in my own home.

1. #Shelfie

Totally different to a #selfie, this is all about beautiful shelves and styling thereof. Step one is to find a pretty shelf and then secondly fill it with visual interesting items like frames, vases, candles or more. I have has my eye on this Harper 5 shelf unit in white for a while.

2. Eclectic

A marriage of various design aesthetics. This recent light and airy room makeover where I used the Tiffany gold modern bedside tables paired with the traditional parquet flooring, contrasted against a white color scheme is the perfect eclectic design style in my opinion.

3. Hygge

This term refers to all things cosy and comfy. Think a fluffy throw, or soft bedding, a candle or plush rug. How inviting does this bed look with the Stornoway duvet cover set?

4. Whimsical

Design elements to add quirky touches to your home. This is not specifically about color or a design , but rather an unexpected item, sure to add a touch of happy to someones’ day. This printed cushion cover by H&M Home via Superbalist.com has the perfect touch of whimsy.

5. Timeless

A design style or item that does not “date” but stays current regardless of the trends. Stoneware is one such item that has stood the test of time and looks beautiful no matter what the trend.

6. Textured

Mixed patterns and fabrics that when combined gives a layered depth to an interior. Both visually and sensory. How beautiful is this textured Skaap throw perfect to use in bedroom or tv room.
