Natalie from NYX Photography recently submitted this lovilee carnival themed wedding styled shoot. We loved the colours and the difference of it all. They decided to move away from the more traditional pastel colours, and decided on gold, red, black and a touch of green for our theme. She gave Colleen from Lieflingkind Design free reign and as you can see it worked! She designed everything from the table number which lights up, popcorn boxes, sweet packets and toffee apple guest name labels. The cake topper was also a true treat as it sparkled and moved in the wind it gave life to her vision.

Venita from Venita’s Design’s yet again outdid herself with two different styled wedding rings and also a pendant she made especially for the shoot of two elephants dancing that you can see hanging around our bride’s neck.
The amazing make-up and hair was provided by Angelique Wentzel from Angelique Make-up and Hair and Lorraine Rosendorff from The Hairbox Studio and ranges from over the top to more classic styled bride.
The wedding cake was supplied by the amazing Santomé and the pattiserie was done by Bakers Delight. We wanted to show overflowing abundance of cake and wine, the merriment of life in the circus.
All styling was done by myself and my wonderful stylist and mother Cathleen Loots. She also sewed the wedding dress, made the brooch bouquet and made all the accessories for the costumes and the bride.

Menu:
- Print the menu out back to front on a piece of thick cardstock. We used gold paper with a bit of a shimmer, but any colour would work well as long as it’s not too dark.
- Using an art knife & a steel ruler, cut the menu out, using the guides in the corners to help align your ruler.
Bags, Flags & Tags:
- Print this out on regular white paper.
- Score along the dotted lines on the cocktail flags and gift bag, and use an art knife and ruler to cut along the solid lines.
- You can use the flags on either pretty paper straws, cocktail sticks or both, depending on your needs. Apply glue to the flags and fold in half around a straw / cocktail stick.
