Summer is the perfect time for snacking, this Chicken liver pate recipe is set to have your mouth water. This easy to make recipe paired with some crackers is the perfect starter or conversation food among friends or family. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 Clove of Garlic Crushed
- 1/2 Onion finely chopped
- 40g Butter
- 2 Sprigs of Parsley (only the leaves)
- 500g Chicken Livers drained
- 30g Tomato Puree
- 30g Brandy
- 2 Tbsp Cream
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 Bay Leaf
- Extra Butter Melted
- Saute the onion and the garlic in butter until soft and translucent
- Add all the ingredients to a blender (including the onion and garlic) and blend until smooth
- Pour the mixture into a frying pan and cook for 4-5 minutes
- Place the mixture into a small bowl and smooth the top
- Pour the melted butter over the mixture and place the bay leaf on top of the butter
- Store in the fridge
- Serve with some crackers
