Last Saturday I hosted a creative workshop using glass jars sponsored by Consol Glass. Mariaan from M.Studio was also part of this lovilee event held at Nomads & Co (sadly now closed down). The workshop formed part of month 6 – ‘Creative jars’ of the Creative Challenge that I am fortunate enough to be running this year.
One of the projects we did was a mini sewing jar, we also had fun spray painting animals and adding them to the bottle lids. For some it was a first time experience trying their hand at spraypainting and using a glue gun. We played around with washi tape, wool, vinyl and more. Make sure that you subscribe to our mailing list to find out about more about upcoming workshops (JHB, RSA only).
Topics covered included presenting food in glass, using jars in table decor and then gifting solutions.
We also had a small retail space that showcased some of Mariaan and my shop goods.
Below is some more inspiration for the challenge and here with a link to some of the previous articles I did on creative jars.
