Whether you are celebrating New Years or any other special occasion these DIY confetti poppers will be a hit. I am a fan of confetti and off-course push pop confetti poppers. These push pop holders are actually used for cupcake treats at parties and makes for a pretty and tidy display.
I was totally inspired after receiving a recent Mollie Makes newsletter where they had a DIY on how to make your own confetti using mini pom poms, hundreds and thousands and a few other pretties. I though that I’d try my own hand at this and finally got to use some of the dried hydrangea flowers that I pressed over a year ago already.
I purchased my push-pop confetti containers from In Good Company before they closed down, but they are also available from The Chocolate Den and I have seen some sold individually already filled with confetti at Mr Price Home before.
*Note: These really look awesome, but in my opinion does not make for great confetti blasters, as you either need to remove the plastic lids beforehand or shoot them with it on. And the reach of the confetti is not as far as when thrown by hand. But again, they look awesome!
Other uses for these Push Pop containers include filling them with sweets as party favours (see my confetti gender reveal party here) or you can freeze yogurt for the little ones inside. My kids love it!
I combined it with some tissue paper off-cuts that were left from the princess’ party and the result – complete unicorn happiness!
