A little while ago we featured a lovilee room make-over by Lerika Photography using Evolve paint. Today we share a small DIY article on how to create the lovilee ‘globe’ DIY lampshade that Lerika made for this room.
What you will need?
- Black Marker
- Light fitting
- Light bulb
- Lamp shade {re-purposed from home}
- PVA paint & sponge roller
- Pencil – to draw the shape you want
How to?
- Get yourself an old lampshade to start this project with.
- Paint the lampshade with PVA paint in a colour of your choice.
- With a pencil, draw a shape that you’d like to use as a feature on the lampshade.
- Colour in the shape with a black marker.
- Assemble the lamp and lampshade and hang it up!
