The super creative Laura Thomas of Work of Heart styled this Fox Party for a little man turning one. Her client, Gina fell in love with some cute fox plates that she purchased on-line and decided on a Fox party theme for her son Luca’s first birthday. I just love the party colours and it really has some great party decor – even the candy table / dessert table is totally awesome and in my opinion a MUST-HAVE for every kids party.
Fox party inspiration
Inspired by the modern, geometric design of the plates, Laura chose a bold, striking palette – predominantly black and white with pops of orange and turquoise. She opted for simple, elegant desserts and incorporated elements or ‘birch’ on the cake, cake pop straws and the chocolate dipped wafers. All of the treats were styled perfectly on a table that the family already had with the cake as focal point. This created a more contemporary take on the ever popular woodland / forest theme.
Laura also hand-crafted the dessert fox party decor table prints for the first birthday party as well as the personalised wooden name blocks. Laura sells these wooden name block sets on her on-line Hello Pretty store and personalised some great ones for the princess too!
Fox Party Decor – Milestone Chart
Laurea worked hand-in-hand with Leigh from Rainbow Magic to design the matching fox milestone board. A milestone board is a great way to keep track and show guests at the party how far your little one has come the past year. I have made it part of all the parties that I plan as it is so nice to scroll back through the photos to revisit these milestones on pretty photos. It also makes for great party decor off-course.
Looks like Luca had great fun on his special day!
The adults also got spoilt with a lovilee ‘big people’ table and their own treats that was decorated tastefully.
