Johannesburg HOMEMAKERS Expo with the theme Raw Comfort, takes place from 28 February – 3 March 2019 at the Ticketpro Dome in Northumberland, Johannesburg. The show is known for bringing homeowners and suppliers together offering ways for you to see, touch, feel and compare products and services. 2. Books and Banter Theatre (I am totally looking forward to this one!)
This is a first ever and exclusive to Johannesburg HOMEMAKERS Expo, the show will host a Wordsmith Theatre where Editor’s will gather in forum, where book publishers will sit amongst the writer and where we can comfortable look deeper into the life’s and stories of everyday bloggers. I am so looking forward to meeting the digital heroes and creatives behind the accounts and books that I follow on a regular basis.

3. Raw Workshops
The Raw workshop will bring a wealth of interesting demonstrations where craftsmen show off the beginnings of their product of trade. Find yourself at the heart of the development of manufacturing lines of products that we dream and plan to have in our homes.

Some of the raw products that you will get to know better in this theatre involve the making of steel creations, glass, wool and weaving and of course the ever popular medium of cement. 4. Young Designers Challenge
The creative geniuses at the University of Johannesburg accepted the challenge to turn an existing power tool into a dual purpose machine.
