I was fortunate enough to attend the Cape Town Kamersvol Event that was held last week at the Castle of Good Hope. Totally unplanned, but so grateful that I was able to. The venue was quite spectacular, as I have never before been to the Castle.
Western Cape photographer, Debbie Lourens, was kind enough to share some of her images that she took of the event with us!
This event was a truly unique experience, totally different from both the Joburg and KAMERS/Makers Irene, Pretoria events that I previously attended. The food at the Cape Town event was simply delicious and lovilee to look at! Whilst some of the Gauteng vendors like M.Studio {one of my favourites} were there, there were plenty of new faces. Here with some of M.Studios’s products below:
Some of my favourites included:
- [kon]crete
- Liesbet van Cappelen Jewelry
- The Gift Jar
- Zana Products. They are currently having a 25% off flash sale (it is for this week only 9-16 June- USE THE COUPON CODE –> HALFWAY upon checkout!)
Here with some more of the products that were on display:
Then there was the lovilee foodies and beyond pretty cross-stitch backdrop of MaMere Confectionery. I have never before seen anything like this!
The food got 10/10! Especially this French, ‘Flamkoek’ that my friendy Carolina who attended introduced me to!
KykNet visited the event and released a small video about it:
