Pierre and Alta tied the knot at the stunningly new Lace on Timber. Their pictures were taken Daniel from L’Afrique Photography who also took their engagement photos at Wonderboom airport. The couple planned their special day over a period of 7 months and the inspiration behind the decor started with her love for rose gold, same as her engagement ring. Alta wanted to combine geometric shapes with rose gold, greys, blues, wood and leather.
The DIY details
I’d been dreaming about this day like any other woman for so long, but I had many ideas in my head it was difficult to decide on what I am actually going to go with. I designed all the stationary for the wedding starting with the ‘save the date’, the invites, reception details and thank you tags on the blankets that the guests received as favours.
I designed all the laser cutting elements myself and Justine from SA laser cutting did the engraving for me. We did the invites the signs and the blanket table numbers and the flower holders for the guest’s tables.
