I am so looking forward to this year’s Rock-a-Baby fair. It is known to be South Africa’s most beautiful baby fair and is an established platform showcasing the finest mom and baby goods. The fair takes place on Saturday, 17 September (9am – 4pm) and Sunday, 18 September (9am – 2pm) at a new venue – The Tin Factory, in trendy Kramerville, Johannesburg.
History of the fair
In 2014, sisters Alex Royston, Bailey Bezuidenhout and Cheska Stark, founders of one of Joburg’s best-loved mom blogs, Kimmy & Bear, saw the need for a curated mom and baby fair and launched Rock-a-Baby. As an alternative to the existing commercial expos, Rock-a-Baby is an experience where moms can discover deluxe baby goods, mingle and meet like-minded moms, and enjoy delicious food.
What you can expect
There will be fifty hand-picked creative vendors at the fair. Gathered under one roof will be those hard-to-find but much-loved items, from luxurious pajamas for moms to handmade dolls and party accessories, heirloom blankets and on-trend clothing to nursery furniture and stylish maternity wear. A must for any mommy or mommy-to-be!
Some of the brands that will be at the show include JeanKelly Leather accessories, Little Black Ant dolls, Liefi Kind Clothing and La Fede Clothing & Decor.
Tickets available via Webtickets at R50pp or at the door.
