The Bride-to-be wanted two looks for her Styled Engagement session. For the first look she wanted to be a bit more daring with some added color and the second look had to have a romantic look and feel with soft corals and pinks. We posted some of the first images of the shoot a while back that you can view here.
For the romantic look focus were on soft, minimal color and elegance. Myrtle created a Peony flower crown, Soft green wrench with flower detail and a flower chandelier hanging from the rooftop. For the décor we used a rustic brown cabinet and some wooden stumps. Carla had a tulle skirt specially made for the shoot and her top was from Forever new.
D’amor Photography strive to capture meaning and emotion in every photograph they take. And this is exactly what they did. The whole shoot you could see the love Carla and Heinrich had for each other. Carla looked so sophisticated with every picture, she made every vendor look very good with her effortless style and photogenic body language. D’amor created the most beautify soft, romantic, timeless and light filled photographs that the couple will be able to treasure forever!

Myrtle Events & Styling also specialize in creating long-lasting and creative Styled Shoots, and for this reason Carla approached us to conceptualize and plan her Styled Engagement shoot together with a few floral arrangements.
Missy from Missy Makeup Artistry is a professional Artist using MAC cosmetics specializing in Bridal, Special Events and Entertainment. She created the most beautiful pallet of makeup colors that fitted perfectly with the floral arrangements and clothing. Carla’s hair were loosely curled with some hair taken back.
Harmonie Protea farm is a full functional Protea farm, situated in the Rayton area near Cullinan. The farm was started in 2002 with 400 protea plants. There are currently over 20 000 plants, with over 30 varieties of protea and fynbos. Neels from Harmonie is really such a gentleman with a love for his farm you can spot a mile a away, we could ask him anything and he would try his best to help. Harmonie Protea Farm provided us with the perfect backdrop to use during our Styled Shoot. We made use of their lovely light filled outdoor ceremony facilities to create our set-up. Where after the couple could also be captured in their lovely field of proteas.
