The new Weylandts Sandton City Store opened earlier this month and I was invited to visit this new space. This store is the ninth store added to the Weylandts portfolio. The interior of the store was designed by the Weylandts Spaces team guided by founder and owner Chris Weylandts. The store is located in Shop U326, Upper level (near Zara) and even boasts a champagne bar.
Weylandts Sandton City Store first impressions
The store is true to the Weylandts brand that I have come to know and love, yet totally unique as well. Before even entering the store you are greeted by a bigger than life Timothy Oulton man. And from there is is inspirationa nd prettiness overload. What I love about the store is that they have a lot of their smaller, more ‘bite size’ gifting and decor accessories for sale. You can literally walk out of the store with 90% of the items but am still able to order the bigger ones.
What products can you expect to find at the new Weylandts Sandton City Store
The furniture and homeware ranges on display include lighting, cookware, dining ware, linen, bathroom accessories and some greenery in the form of plants for patio living. My favourite sectio has to be the kitchen section, with gorgeous natural stone tables and off-course ceramics to swoon over.
Their bathroom sector is also pretty pretty pretty. They have some Turkish towels and other bathroom accessories that will have you coming back over and over again!
This hanging plant installation makes your feel like you are having a forest walk right in the centre of Jozi!
Some of my favourite finds from the Weylandts Sandton City Store include
- Pencilled Bee wall art by local Artist Debbie New
- Smoke Small Cylinder Vase
- Fringe Patterned bathmat
- Set of 6 Hi Ball glasses
- Stone Cereal bowl
- Cement Rabbit
- 24 Piece copper cutlery set
If you have not visited a Weylandts store before, have a look at and read here where I share my visit to the Kramerville store.
