Ingredients
10 Granny Smith Apples (peeled cored and cut into eighths)
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tsp Cinnamon
25 ml Light Brown Sugar
25 ml Raisins (Optional)
1 cup Flour
0.50 cup Brown Sugar
90 g Butter (cubed)
Method
1Place the apples and lemon juice in a pot and cook for 5 minutes with the lid on.
2Place the flour and brown sugar in a bowl and mix well.
3Add the butter to flour mixture and rub the butter until a crumble mixture is formed.
4Put the apples in a pie dish sprinkle with the light brown sugar and raisins. Pour the crumble mixture over the mixture.
5Bake at 200 Degrees Celcius for 30 minutes.
6Serve with custard and cream.
